The Quins gained revenge for the one point defeat at Celtic two weeks ago and at times produced breath taking rugby.

From the kick-off skipper Craig Cox burst up field and support from flanker Liam Oates and hooker Luke Davies almost brought a score for hard running winger Kyle Williams.

Then it was full back Jordan Crealock who ripped open wide the Celtic defence with a sixty metre run and Oates picked a great angle to cross beneath the crossbar. Ryan Pugh converted.

Quins increased their lead when a good line out win by Callum Beynon set up a rolling maul and Luke Davies crashed over.

Crealock again showed his paces when another dazzling run over half the length of the field resulted in a score for Ryan Pugh.

The Quins looked to be winning at a canter when they were pressed back by the heavyweight Celtic pack who after sustained pressure gained a try through Kieran Power, making it 17-5 at the break.

The second half started as the first and a strike against the put in allowed scrum half Jacob Flynn to demonstrate his dazzling skills for a memorable individual try.

Flynn then produced even more brilliance with a spectacular burst allowing Cox to touch down.

A worrying aspect of some of the Quins performances this season is that on occasions they lose their way and allow opponents back into the game. The Celtic caused panic in the Quins defence and Power grabbed his second score from close in after smart running from full back Scott James. Two yellow cards in quick succession reduced the Quins pack to six men and Celtic added another mauling try by Matthew Jones, converted by Rhodri Thomas.

The Quins regained  their poise when replacement prop, Dan Helson galloped away and inter-passing with Dale Bowen saw the prop dive over to score. Callum Beynon finished the Quins scoring for the season with a wide angled conversion.
